The iconic Pennybacker Bridge, opened in 1982, spans across Lake Austin in Austin, Texas. The bridge connects the north and south ends of Loop 360, also known as the “Capital of Texas Highway”. At the time of its construction, it was only the second bridge of its design in the world.
